After dipping into the free agent market for some pass-rush help, the Falcons kept one of their own Wednesday.
The team announced they’ve re-signed defensive end Kroy Biermann.
Biermann is a versatile piece who can fill a lot of roles on the defensive front. Last year, he had a career-high 80 tackles and added 4.5 sacks.
The former fifth-round pick isn’t the flashiest player, but gives them a good rotation with newcomers Adrian Clayborn and O’Brien Schofield.
