The Falcons and offensive guard Garrett Reynolds reached agreement on a two-year contract on Saturday, the club said.
Reynolds started the first six games of 2012 at right guard for Atlanta. However, a back injury ended his season in November, and rookie Peter Konz, the club’s second-round pick in the 2012 draft, stepped into Reynolds’ spot in the starting lineup.
The 25-year-old Reynolds has appeared in 27 career games in four NFL seasons, making 13 starts, all at right guard. He was slated to become an unrestricted free agent.
