For the millions of you who aren’t paying attention to the UFL, former Heisman winner Eric Crouch won the starting quarterback job for the Omaha Nighthawks.

Alas, Crouch’s comeback lasted for less than one full game.

He suffered a torn meniscus in a season-opening loss to the Virginia Destroyers, and the Nighthawks have placed him on injured reserve.

The quarterback job now will fall to Jeremiah Masoli or to another Heisman winner who washed out of the NFL: Troy Smith.
