Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin’s wonderful comeback season will be capped with his first-ever Pro Bowl trip.

Maclin will replace Denver’s Demaryius Thomas on the NFL’s all-star game roster, the Eagles said Friday night. Thomas will not play because of injury.

The 26-year-old Maclin set NFL career-highs in catches (85), receiving yards (1,318) and equaled a career top in TD catches (10) in 2014. He missed the 2013 regular season after suffering a torn anterior cruciate ligament in training camp.

In other Pro Bowl roster news Friday, a pair of long-snappers were added to the game. The Eagles announced Jon Dorenbos had been selected to the game by Cowboys coach Jason Garrett, while the Cowboys announced their long-snapper, L.P. Ladouceur, had been added to the game by Ravens coach John Harbaugh.

This is the second Pro Bowl berth for Dorenbos, 34. The 33-year-old Ladouceur will be making his first Pro Bowl trip.

The Ravens and Cowboys will oversee the clubs in the Pro Bowl, which will be held on Sunday, January 25 at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
