Dominic Rhodes is back with the Colts

D. Rhodes

Colts fans will be happy to learn the team signed Dominic Rhodes, according to Mike Chappell of the Indianapolis Star.

Rhodes was a Super Bowl hero on the team not so long ago, and spent this season in the UFL. Either Rhodes or the Colts likely paid a $25,000 transfer fee for him to join the team.

While Rhodes’ addition brings back good memories, it isn’t a good sign for the health of the Colts backfield. It likely indicates that both Joseph Addai (shoulder) and Mike Hart (ankle) are unlikely to play in Tennessee on Thursday night.

The Colts are dead last in rushing yards and yards-per-carry. They were also dead last when Rhodes was last on the team in 2008.
