Dolphins wide receiver Brandon Gibson exited Sunday’s game at New England with a left knee injury suffered on a first-quarter incomplete pass.

According to Mike Reiss of ESPNBoston.com, the Dolphins have said Gibson is doubtful to come back into the game.

Gibson leaped for a pass that sailed over his head, then was hit on his left leg. Gibson hobbled off the field, then slammed his helmet to the ground on the Dolphins’ sideline. He was later carted off the field.

Gibson scored the Dolphins’ first touchdown on Sunday, hauling in a four-yard reception early in the first quarter.
