The Steelers won’t have one of their key defensive players for another week.
Safety DeShon Elliott has been downgraded from doubtful to out.
Elliott is dealing with a hamstring injury. He was listed as a non-participant on Tuesday and Wednesday’s injury reports before being a limited participant on Thursday.
In 13 games this season, Elliott has registered a career-high 96 total tackles with six passes defensed, an interception, two forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries.
