Danny Amendola must love being a Patriot.

Because he just signed up for the long-term for what sure seems like less money than he could find elsewhere.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Amendola agreed to a new three-year pact which will pay him a maximum of $15 million, and has a base value of $12.75 million.

Of course, he was already scheduled to make $15 million under the previous terms of his contract, so this was effectively a pay cut with a chance.

The diminutive wideout has struggled with injuries, but was vital for New England down the stretch this season (five catches and a touchdown in the Super Bowl), and now he gets to hang around.
