Fresh off being released by the Houston Texans, safety Danieal Manning already has his first free agent visit set up.
According to John McClain of the Houston Chronicle, Manning will head for a visit with the Cincinnati Bengals on Tuesday.
Manning was let go by the Texans after Houston elected to sign former Miami safety Chris Clemons late last week. Suddenly, Manning’s $4.5 million salary became a burden and the veteran became expendable.
Manning started 35 games over the past three seasons for the Texans. He appeared in just six games for Houston last season before a leg injury in October led to him being placed on injured reserve. In his last full season in 2012, Manning racked up 77 tackles with two interceptions and three forced fumbles for Houston.
