Cowboys place WR CeeDee Lamb, CB Amani Oruwariye on injured reserve

The Cowboys placed wide receiver CeeDee Lamb on injured reserve Saturday, the team announced.

The Cowboys announced earlier this week that they were shutting down Lamb, so he could begin resting and rehabbing his shoulder injury. Lamb is not expected to require surgery.

He injured his shoulder in a Week 9 game against the Falcons and has played through the pain since. Lamb aggravated it in the Thanksgiving Day game against the Giants and again in Sunday night’s game against the Bucs.

Cornerback Amani Oruwariye (foot) also will end his season on injured reserve. The Cowboys already had ruled him out for Sunday’s game against the Eagles.

The Cowboys signed linebacker Darius Harris from the practice squad in one corresponding move, and they used the other roster spot to activate offensive tackle Asim Richards from injured reserve.

The team also added tight end Princeton Fant (calf) to the injury report following the team’s practice on Saturday. They list him as questionable.

Cornerback Troy Pride and center Dakoda Shepley were elevated from the practice squad for Sunday’s game.
