COWBOYS HAND-PICKED RAVENS FOR TEXAS STADIUM FINALE

We mentioned in this week’s SportingNews.com Ten-Pack the theory that the Dallas Cowboys had specifically asked the NFL to make their home game with the Ravens the final regular-season contest at Texas Stadium. We’ve since learned that, indeed, Jones made such a request -- and the league obliged. We’re also told that the Ravens players were made acutely aware of this fact prior to Saturday night’s game. In hindsight, Jones probably wishes he’d asked for the Bengals. Because, at this point, no one wants to see the Ravens come to town.
