Concerns already cropping up about Texans’ home turf

Problems with the turf in Houston are nothing new, and they’ve already started before the first game.

According to Adam Teicher of ESPN.com, the Chiefs “aren’t happy with the condition of the field,” at NRG Stadium, which has large seams evident already.

The Texans use system of removable trays of grass for NFL games, while they have an artificial surface they use for other games.

You’d think they’d have fixed the problems there, since last year’s No. 1 overall pick Jadeveon Clowney suffered a knee injury which one of his teammates blamed on the gaps in the grass.

But it appears the problems there haven’t been resolved, which is amazing considering their persistent nature.
