The Colts added two players to the roster and removed another Tuesday, signing cornerback Chance Casey and offensive guard Will Corbin and waiving cornerback Josh Mitchell with an “injured” designation. The club announced the moves this morning.
The 24-year-old Casey was most recently with the Raiders, who waived him on May 11. After being signed off the 49ers’ practice squad last December, Casey (5-11, 190) played in the final two regular season games of 2014 for the Raiders, starting the season finale at Denver.
Corbin (6-6, 305) tried out for the Colts at their rookie minicamp earlier this month. An Appalachian State product, the 24-year-old Corbin played 35 collegiate games.
An undrafted rookie from Nebraska, Mitchell will be assigned to injured reserve if he unclaimed on waivers, the Colts said.
