On the whole, Colts tickets will be slightly more expensive next year.
But the cheap seats are getting cheaper.
According to Mark Alesia of the Indianapolis Star, Colts tickets are going up an average of 1.3 percent, but they’re changing the way they’re pricing.
Some upper level corner tickets are going from $690 to $550, while some lower level seats on the sideline are going from $1,260 to $1,400
“We used research that the league did for us that gave us more information than in the past,” chief operating officer Pete Ward said. “Basically, we’re charging based on demand for certain areas of the stadium in what we feel is a more justified manner.”
Cutting the prices of the cheapest seats may be a reflection of the league’s current worry about getting fans to leave the couch and television they’ve already paid for, in favor of showing up at the stadium.
