Charles Rogers, the former Lions draft bust who received a $14.4 million signing bonus on his rookie contract, is facing more financial problems.
Rogers is facing foreclosure on a second home after defaulting on a mortgage. He owes more than $421,000 on the 1,698-square-foot, two-bedroom condo in Birmingham, Michigan, that he bought in July 2003.
The 29-year-old Rogers previously defaulted on a $1.04 million mortgage for a home in Novi, Michigan.
Rogers was the second overall pick in the 2003 NFL draft. He finished his career with 36 catches for 440 yards. Andre Johnson, the receiver taken third overall in 2003, is still going strong at 673 catches for 9,164 yards.
