Chargers to open practice window for J.K. Dobbins

Chargers running back J.K. Dobbins may be back to help the team in the final weeks of the season.

Head coach Jim Harbaugh told reporters at a Monday press conference that the team will be designating running back J.K. Dobbins for return from injured reserve on Monday. The Chargers will be holding a bonus practice after playing last Thursday.

Dobbins has missed the last four games with a knee injury and he will have a 21-day window to practice with the team before he needs to be activated. He can be activated at any point, so could play against the Patriots on Saturday.

Dobbins has 158 carries for 766 yards and eight touchdowns this season.
