The Chargers will have running back J.K. Dobbins back in the lineup for Saturday’s game in New England.
NFL Media reports that the Chargers will activate Dobbins from injured reserve ahead of their Week 17 matchup with the Patriots. Dobbins has missed the last four games with a knee injury.
Dobbins was enjoying a strong comeback season in his first year with the Chargers before the injury. After missing most of the last three seasons with the Ravens, Dobbins had 158 carries for 766 yards and eight touchdowns for Los Angeles in the first 11 games of the season.
Gus Edwards was ruled out for the Chargers with an ankle injury, so Dobbins could be in line for a fair amount of work in his return to the lineup.
