Chargers lead Buccaneers 17-13 at halftime

The Chargers are ahead of the Buccaneers 17-13 at halftime of their Week 15 matchup in Los Angeles.

Both teams scored touchdowns on their respective opening drives, with Baker Mayfield hitting Jalen McMillan for a 26-yard touchdown and Ladd McConkey announcing his return with a 7-yard score.

After the two teams traded field goals, the Chargers broke serve with Tarheeb Still’s interception off of Mayfield. That led to Quentin Johnston’s 13-yard touchdown reception to give Los Angeles a 17-10 lead.

Chase McLaughlin hit a 30-yard field goal late in the second quarter to make the score 17-13.

Mayfield is 14-of-19 passing and leads the Bucs with 25 yards on two carries.

On the other side, Justin Herbert is 12-of-16 for 130 yards with two touchdowns and no picks. While the Chargers lead and have recorded 10 first downs, they are 0-of-2 on third down.

The Chargers will receive the second-half kickoff.
