Casey Matthews doesn’t have the same explosive ability as his brother Clay, but he does have a nose for the ball. (And similar flowing hair.)

He also has a great chance to make an impact because he was drafted by a team that sorely needs linebackers. The Eagles took Casey Matthews midway through the fourth round with the No. 116 overall pick.

Matthews was an inside linebacker in college and could be a potential replacement for Stewart Bradley in the long run, depending on what happen with Bradley’s next contract. Matthews could be an option at weakside linebacker as well.
