The Cardinals plan to have running back Jeremiyah Love back in the lineup when they face the Cowboys this Sunday.
Head coach Mike LaFleur said that the first-round pick is on track to play for the first time since Week 5. Love missed the last two games with an ankle injury and returned to practice this Wednesday.
LaFleur told reporters at his press conference that he doesn’t think any players are 100 percent at this point in the season, but that Love feels as good as he can coming off of the injury.
Love had 67 carries for 245 yards and a touchdown in Arizona’s first five games this season. He also recorded 11 catches for 36 yards and a touchdown.
The Cardinals will not have defensive tackle Walter Nolen (ankle) or offensive lineman Jon Gaines (ankle), but they do expect offensive lineman Elijah Wilkinson (knee) to join Love in the lineup.
