Cam Jordan to miss time with hamstring injury

Saints defensive end Cam Jordan’s preparations for his final NFL season have hit a snag.

Head coach Kellen Moore told reporters on Tuesday that Jordan is going to “miss a little bit of time” as a result of a hamstring injury. Jordan was hurt last week and Moore didn’t rule out the possibility of the injury lingering into the regular season.

“We’ll see,” Moore said, via Matthew Paras of NOLA.com. “It could possibly get into the season, but you never know. So these things, you’ve just got to have some patience with it, let it take its course and we’ll collect more and more information as we go.”

If Jordan does miss a regular season game, it would be an unusual occurrence. He has only missed two games — one due to injury, one due to COVID — in 15 NFL seasons.
