The sellout streak in Tampa has ended at, well, one.
The Week Four Monday night game between the Bucs and the Colts snapped a 10-game streak of blacked out games at Raymond James Stadium. The Week Six visit from the Saints has not resulted in enough ticket sales to permit the game to be televised locally.
Rick Stroud of the St. Petersburg Times reports that roughly 55,000 fans are expected to attend the game, not enough to constitute a sellout.
The team’s next home games comes next week, in London. Only three games remain in Tampa: November 13 (Texans), December 4 (Panthers), and December 17 (Cowboys).
For Week Six, only two games have been blacked out. The Bengals announced earlier in the week that the visit from the Colts won’t be televised locally, making Cincinnati three-for-three when it comes to non-sellouts.
