Last week, Cowboys rookie defensive back Bryan McCann returned an interception 101 yards for a touchdown against the Giants. He eventually was named NFC defensive player of the week.

This week, McCann has done it again.

After a Lions player knocked the ball into the field of play before it could go into the end zone following the punt, McCann smartly grabbed the ball and took off.

And 97 yards later, McCann scored.

The Lions didn’t challenge the return, even though it appeared that McCann stepped out of bounds in the Detroit end of the field.

The Cowboys lead, 14-12. And the Lions already have fumbled.

And the Cowboys already have scored again. 21-12.
