The Browns have let go of one of their special teams contributors.
Cleveland announced on Thursday that the club has waived linebacker Nathaniel Watson.
Watson, a sixth-round pick in 2024, had appeared in both of the team’s games so far, playing exclusively on special teams. He was on the field for 52 percent of the unit’s snaps.
Additionally, Cleveland has waived safety Chase Williams from injured reserve.
