With Dustin Hopkins still struggling, the Browns have added another kicker.
Cleveland announced on Tuesday that the club has signed Andre Szmyt to its practice squad.
Szmyt, 26, has not kicked in a regular-season game, but spent time with the Bears in 2023 after finishing his career at Syracuse. He also kicked for the St. Louis Battlehawks of the UFL earlier this year.
Hopkins has struggled mightily this season, making just 64 percent of his field goal sans 16-of-19 extra points. After he was benched for one game, he returned last week and missed an extra point — the only kick he attempted.
Defensive tackle T.Y. McGill was released from the practice squad to make room for Szmyt.
