First-time head coach Pat Shurmur has chosen a first team special teams coordinator to join him in Cleveland.
The Browns hired Chris Tabor as special teams coordinator. Tabor was the assistant special teams coach.
“I believe that Chris is one of the up and coming special teams coaches in this league,” Shurmur said. “He is smart, enthusiastic and has a true passion for this area of the game.”
We could talk more about this move on a sleepy Tuesday in the NFL, but it would really be stretching it.
