The Browns have added a defensive back.
Cleveland claimed Kahlef Hailassie off waivers after he was let go by Kansas City.
Hailassie had signed with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent out of Western Kentucky in the spring.
By adding Hailassie, the Browns will likely continue churning pieces on their 53-man roster before their season opener against the Bengals on Sept. 10.
