Browns activate DT Mike Hall, elevate K Riley Patterson

The Browns have officially brought a couple of players back and it looks like they’ll also have a new kicker in Week 15.

Cleveland has activated rookie defensive tackle Mike Hall Jr. and cornerback Myles Harden off of injured reserve. Additionally, the club has elevated kicker Riley Patterson and receiver James Proche off the practice squad to the gameday roster.

Hall a second-round pick in this year’s draft, has been sidelined by a knee injury. Harden, a rookie seventh-round pick, suffered a shin injury early in the season.

With Dustin Hopkins struggling this season, Patterson was added to the practice squad this week for his second stint with the club. He appeared in two games for Cleveland last year, connecting on one field goal and 6-of-7 extra points.

Hopkins has made just 16-of-25 field goals in 2024, a mark of 64.0 percent. Last year, Hopkins hit 91.7 percent of his field goals. But he missed both of his field goals in Week 14, which is likely part of what necessitated the change for Sunday’s matchup against Kansas City.
