The Browns have scored the last six points in Sunday’s game against the Broncos, but Denver still has a 14-6 lead at halftime.
Cleveland had a chance to get more than three points on the board late in the first half with first-and-goal at the 9-yard line. But two incomplete passes by Dorian Thompson-Robinson induced Cleveland to settle for a 24-yard field goal to go into halftime down by eight points.
Dustin Hopkins also hit a 36-yard field goal earlier in the second quarter.
The Broncos jumped out to a 14-0 lead with a 3-yard touchdown by Samaje Perine in the first quarter followed by a 2-yard touchdown run by Russell Wilson in the second.
Wilson is 5-of-12 passing for 66 yards. He also has 37 yards rushing, including a long of 19 yards, though he does have a lost fumble.
Denver has 10 first downs and is 4-of-6 on third down against a Cleveland defense that entered this weekend allowing just a 25.4 percent third-down conversion rate.
Cleveland rookie quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson is 9-of-20 passing for 85 yards and has 21 yards rushing. While Amari Cooper has just one catch on three targets of 5 yards, Cedric Tillman has four catches for 55 yards.
The Broncos will receive the second-half kickoff.
