Broncos elevate DE Matt Henningsen, RB Blake Watson from the practice squad

The Broncos elevated defensive end Matt Henningsen and running back Blake Watson for Thursday Night Football against the Chargers.

Henningsen has not appeared in a game this season, but he played 34 games with the Broncos the past two seasons with 18 starts.

He has totaled 40 tackles, one sack and two passes defensed in his career.

The Broncos made Henningsen a sixth-round pick in 2022.

Watson, rookie from the University of Memphis, has appeared in one game for the Broncos in 2024. He played one offensive snap and one on special teams against the Raiders on Oct. 6.

The Broncos signed Watson as a college free agent this offseason, and he joined their practice squad in Week 7 after being waived out of the preseason.
