The Colts aren’t the only team that can clinch a playoff berth on Sunday.

Although the Colts have the clearest path to the playoffs -- they clinch the AFC South with a win and a Texans loss -- the Broncos also have a scenario in which they clinch a playoff berth on Sunday.

First, the Broncos need to beat the Bills on Sunday. Then they need the Ravens to lose to the Dolphins, the Steelers to lose to the Bengals, the Browns to lose to the Colts and the Texans to lose to the Jaguars. After that, the Colts would need either the Chiefs to lose to the Cardinals, or the Chiefs and Cardinals to tie and the Chargers to lose to the Patriots.

If you didn’t follow all that, don’t worry about it. All of those things probably aren’t going to happen. But it is at least possible that we’ll know the identity of two AFC playoff teams by the end of the day on Sunday: The Colts can win the AFC South, and the Broncos can clinch an AFC wild-card berth.
