His hit on Bills safety Aaron Williams cost Dolphins wide receiver Jarvis Landry a $24,309 fine last week.

It also cost Williams the season.

The Bills put Williams on injured reserve, to clear the roster spot needed to sign Percy Harvin Tuesday.

The 26-year-old Williams suffered his second serious neck injury in as many seasons on the play, and his father admitted it was the kind of play that would make him consider his future in the sport.

The former second-round pick signed a five-year, $26 million contract in 2014 which contained $14.625 million in guarantees.
