The Bears have agreed to terms on a one-year deal with free agent cornerback Zack Bowman, Sean Jensen of the Chicago Sun-Times reported Friday.
The 28-year-old Bowman appeared in 11 games for Chicago in 2012. Per club statistics, he notched 11 tackles on special teams, and the NFL credited him with 11 defensive stops.
The 6-foot-1, 196-pound Bowman has made 16 career starts (all with Chicago) in five NFL seasons. He figures as a reserve behind Tim Jennings and Charles Tillman.
