Between the injured players from the conference finalists who lost and the Pro Bowlers from the teams that won, replacements will be needed for the Pro Bowl.

The latest is Dolphins defensive lineman Randy Starks, who is replacing Patriots defensive tackle Vince Wilfork.

Starks is due to become a free agent in March, and the nine-year veteran has appeared in every Dolphins game for all of his five seasons in South Florida.

It’s Starks’ second trip to the Pro Bowl. His first came two seasons ago.

Now, he’ll get to spend a week in Hawaii with players who may try to recruit him to their teams for 2013.
