Last night, Giants running back Andre Brown said of his broken leg on Twitter, “People the season not over yet!!!!

People, it is now.

Jenny Vrentas of the Newark Star-Ledger reports that Brown is done for the season. Citing an unnamed source, Vrentas reports that further testing has revealed that Brown won’t be able to play again this season.

It means that David Wilson will get a bigger role, with Ahmad Bradshaw still serving as the starter.

UPDATE 3:52 p.m. ET: Coach Tom Coughlin said Monday that Brown will be given the designation to return, which would allow him to play in the Super Bowl.
