Advisor hopes to get counseling for Adam Muema

An advisor to Adam Muema, the former San Diego State running back who abruptly left the Scouting Combine and explained that God had told him to do so, is hoping to arrange counseling for him.

Although Muema’s agents ended their relationship with them, he is being advised by Rob London, who told the Los Angeles Times that he hopes Muema will agree to talk to a professoinal.

We need to get him some counseling so NFL teams can get comfortable with him come draft day,” London said.

Muema has been active on Twitter over the last few days, posting Bible passages and professing his belief in Lord RayEl, a preacher who proclaims himself the second coming of Jesus Christ. Muema does still seem to have an interest in getting drafted, and one of his Twitter messages was a comparison of his own statistics to those of Buccaneers running back Doug Martin.

London says he’s hoping Muema will participate in San Diego State’s Pro Day on March 19, but most importantly, London says, “My concern is just for his well-being.”
