49ers to put WR De’Zhaun Stribling on injured reserve

49ers rookie wide receiver De’Zhaun Stribling will miss at least four games due to the ankle injury he suffered in last Thursday’s season-opening win over the Rams.

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that the 49ers will place Stribling on injured reserve. A report earlier this week indicated Stribling will not require surgery to repair the injury.

Per a report from Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, the 49ers will sign wide receiver KhaDarel Hodge to their 53-man roster. Hodge was elevated from the practice squad in Week 1.

Tight end Jake Tonges was also injured in the win and head coach Kyle Shanahan suggested he’d miss time as his MCL recovers, but the team has not moved him to injured reserve at this point.
