Broncos signed Penn State DL PJ Mustipher.
Though highly recruited in high school, Mustipher eschewed his home state flagship university to join Manny Diaz in State College. Mustipher is a pocket pusher that is likely limited to going straight through the heart of the offensive line. He’s a bigger nose tackle that will single-gap for now but could eventually develop into a two-gapper with further growth. He concerningly lacks a fair amount of athleticism with only a 1.42 RAS, however, Mustipher has been a part of some tenacious defensive showings at Beaver Stadium. His intelligence will be what gets him onto a practice squad early on, and the rest is up to him.
