  • PHI Wide Receiver #6

Smith is finally being given the week off to deal with his nagging hamstring injury, which should pay dividends as early as next week. The talented inside/outside wide receiver has played ineffectively over the last two weeks. Dallas Goedert should receive a target bump with Smith out.
  • PHI Wide Receiver #6
Smith was unable to get on the practice field this week. Regarding his Week 12 availability, head coach Nick Sirianni said earlier that the team would see how he feels by the end of the day, but it’s hard to imagine Smith suiting up for Sunday’s game against the Rams after missing a full week of practice. He has been playing through this injury for the last few weeks, but may have finally pushed things too far by playing in Week 11. If he cannot play, the Eagles could be looking at Jahan Dotson serving as their WR2 opposite A.J. Brown, giving him some WR4/WR5 utility in deeper leagues.
  • PHI Quarterback #1
Hurts was a limited participant in Wednesday’s practice but upgraded to a full participant on Thursday. With Friday’s practice still to go, Sirianni wasted no time letting people know that his star quarterback will be ready to play on Sunday against the Rams. Hurts profile as a high-end QB1 in Week 12 and enters the game having scored a rushing touchdown in five-straight games.
  • PHI Quarterback #1
A lower body strengthening program appears to be the culprit behind Hurts being a limited participant in Wednesday’s practice. The Eagles’ QB1 was upgraded to a full participant on Thursday and should be good to go for Sunday’s game against the Rams, barring any setbacks. Hurts will be a high-end QB1 in Week 12 and will look to extend his rushing touchdown streak to six-straight games.
  • PHI Wide Receiver #6
Smith has missed both practices to start the week and is at serious risk of missing Week 12’s game against the Rams if he can’t get on the field in some capacity on Friday. He has been dealing with the same hamstring injury since the days leading up to Week 10’s game against the Cowboys, but things seem to have gotten worse as of late. This is the first time Smith has missed two practices as a result of the injury, making Friday’s practice all the more vital to his Week 12 availability. We’ll see where things go on Friday, but fantasy managers should get their backup plans in place now.
  • PHI Wide Receiver #6
Smith sat out Week 11’s Wednesday practice before participating in a limited capacity on Thursday and Friday. He ultimately suited up for Week 11 but caught only 4-of-6 targets for 29 yards. Smith played just six fewer snaps than AJ Brown but it does appear as though the injury is limiting him in-game. Hopefully, Smith can resume practicing in full by Friday.
  • PHI Quarterback #1
Per ESPN’s Tim McManus, Wednesday was the final day of a lower body strengthening program for Hurts, seemingly causing him to be limited in practice. Cool. Hurts is expected to be a full-go in the next two practices and isn’t at risk of missing Week 12. He will remain near the top of the QB1 ranks for his matchup with the Rams.
  • PHI EDGE #47
Eagles beat writers believe Huff, who has played with a hard cast on his injured wrist over the past two weeks, could return at the end of the regular season or the start of the postseason. Huff’s absence is a loss for an Eagles defense featuring a pass rush that Pro Football Focus grades as the NFL’s second best this season. Huff has two sacks and 11 QB hurries this season.
  • PHI Running Back #14
Gainwell didn’t get a ton of touches with Saquon Barkley once again dominating the backfield — and with good reason — but he made the most of those attempts. The tailback was the only other player to have a carry outside of Barkley and Jalen Hurts, so it’s obvious he’s the clear preferred No. 2 option to Will Shipley right now. That should continue to be the case in Week 12 against the Rams, but it’s hard to see enough volume for fantasy relevance.
  • PHI Wide Receiver #6
Smith did have a drop that hurt his yardage total — and obviously his reception mark — but even if he brought that pass in, it wasn’t a great game for the 26-year-old. It’s worth noting that he was dealing with a hamstring issue and playing on short rest, so that probably didn’t help. He’s picked up just 43 yards in the last two games, however, and will try and get going against the Rams in Week 12.
