    Eagles released WR Parris Campbell.
Campbell, who failed to crack the 53-man roster at last cuts, caught a touchdown in Week 4 while A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith were both out. Still just 27, Campbell will be out there for WR-needy teams to take a shot on.
  • PHI Wide Receiver #80
Parris Campbell caught all four of his targets for 17 yards and a touchdown in the Eagles’ Week 4 loss to the Bucs.
It was Campbell’s first touchdown grab in nearly two years. He was thrust into a larger role with DeVonta Smith and A.J. Brown out this week and wound up leading the Dallas receivers in catches. His 17 yards inexplicably led the wideouts as well, though two tight ends and Saquon Barkley beat him in that category. Campbell should return to a part-time role coming out of Philly’s Week 5 bye, keeping him out of the fantasy conversation for the foreseeable future.
  • PHI Wide Receiver #80
Eagles elevated Parris Campbell from the practice squad for Week 3 against the Falcons.
Campbell is a notable elevation with AJ Brown sidelined for Monday Night’s game against the Falcons. The wideout could see some targets with Brown unavailable, but there still isn’t much fantasy upside in the former second-round pick’s profile.

Eagles waived/released WR Parris Campbell, LB Oren Burks, OL Nick Gates, QB Will Grier, G/C Matt Hennessy, CB Parry Nickerson, OLB Julian Okwara, WR John Ross, G/T Max Scharping, OL Brett Toth, G/T Gottlieb Ayedze, OT Anim Dankwah, RB Tyrion Davis-Price, TE Kevin Foelsch, DT Gabe Hall, WR Jacob Harris, WR Griffin Hebert, DE Tarron Jackson, TE E.J. Jenkins, CB Josh Jobe, OLB Terrell Lewis, C Dylan McMahon, CB Zech McPhearson, RB Kendall Milton, DT P.J. Mustipher, WR Joseph Ngata, RB Lew Nichols, G/C Jason Poe, TE Armani Rogers, S Andre Sam, LB Brandon Smith, CB Shon Stephens, S Caden Sterns, OT Laekin Vakalahi and WR Austin Watkins.
Campbell was in the 53-man roster mix. Then he got injured early in camp and barely practiced. Sadly, same as it ever was. The 27-year-old is close to falling out of the league.
  • PHI Wide Receiver #80
Eagles WR Parris Campbell (groin) did not practice Monday.
The oft-injured Campbell, who has managed to play just 44 games in five NFL seasons, sustained a groin injury last week and has been held out since. Rookie WR Johnny Wilson has taken on first-team reps with Campbell sidelined. The big-framed Wilson has flashed in limited opportunities during training camp and seems to have a path to three-receiver sets this season. Rotoworld’s Denny Carter wrote about Wilson’s target-commanding profile as a receiver at Florida State.
  • PHI Wide Receiver #89
Eagles rookie WR Johnny Wilson has been playing with the first-team offense following WR Parris Campbell’s groin strain.
The report comes from Inside The Birds reporter Andrew DiCecco, who notes Wilson “continued to look more comfortable” in the role. The 6-foot-6, 231-pound Wilson averaged 2.90 yards per route run across his two seasons at Florida State. He profiles as a size-speed-matchup nightmare when lined up against slot cornerbacks and safeties.
  • PHI Wide Receiver #80
PHLY’s Zach Berman reports Eagles WR Parris Campbell ran with the starters on the first day of training camp.
The Eagles signed Campbell to a one-year deal in the offseason after letting Quez Watkins and Julio Jones walk in free agency. Watkins was signed by the Steelers while Jones remains a free agent. Philly also selected wide receivers Johnny Wilson and Ainias Smith on Day Three of the draft. They took a lot of dart throws on potential third receivers and Campbell appears to have the inside track to that role at the beginning of camp. Redraft managers don’t need to worry about this camp battle, but Best Ball drafters could consider Campbell as a final-round gamble if he continues to run with the starters.
  • PHI Wide Receiver #0
Eagles signed WR Parris Campbell, formerly of the Giants, to a one-year contract.
In his lone season with the Giants in 2023, Campbell totaled 20 receptions for 104 yards in 12 games. The oft-injured receiver was a healthy scratch for the final five weeks of the season and may need to battle for a spot on the Eagles’ 53-man roster in camp. Campbell has caught 117 passes for 1,087 yards and five touchdowns in his career and went for a personal best, 63-623-3, in 2022.
  • NYG Wide Receiver #0
The Giants declared WR Parris Campbell, CB Deonte Banks, OLB Benton Whitley, C John Michael Schmitz, TE Tyree Jackson, DT Timmy Horne and QB Jacob Eason inactive for their Week 18 game against the Eagles.
Tyrod Taylor will finish the season as the Giants’ starter at quarterback as they look to ruin the Eagles chances at clinching the number two seed. Saquon Barkley will take the field in what could be his last game as a Giant.
  • NYG Wide Receiver #0
Giants declared WR Parris Campbell, CB Deonte Banks, S Gervarrius Owens, OLB Benton Whitley, C Sean Harlow, WR Dennis Houston, and DT Timmy Horne inactive for Week 17 against the Rams.
Campbell suffered a knee injury in practice a few weeks ago and hasn’t taken the field sine Week 13. Wan’Dale Robinson will man the slot for the Giants once again, keeping him on the WR4 radar for Week 17.
