Former Georgia junior S Otis Reese committed to an Ole Miss transfer.
Reese (6'3/210) dropped into the transfer portal in early January. He initially signed on with Georgia as a four-star recruit in the 2018 cycle. While he appeared in 25 games during his time in Athens, he accounted for just three tackles this past fall while working in a reserve role. We’ll see if he can get things jump-started in Oxford. Reese will be required to sit out the 2020 season barring an NCAA eligibility waiver.

According to Matt Zenitz of AL.com, Georgia sophomore S Otis Reese has entered his name into the transfer portal.
Reese (6'3/210) was a four-star recruit out of high school, ultimately signing with Georgia after being a Michigan verbal commit up until National Signing Day in February 2018. In two seasons at Georgia, the sophomore safety appeared in 25 games and accounted for 16 total tackles. Thirteen of those tackles were tallied as a freshman, when he appeared in 11 of Georgia’s 14 games. Reese will likely have to sit out the 2020 season per NCAA transfer rules (unless he goes the FCS route), and he’ll have two seasons of eligibility remaining.

247Sports’ Steve Lorenz reports that four-star 2018 S Otis Reese committed to Michigan.
Reese and four-star 2017 DT Aubrey Solomon began the week without commitments, but they fixed that on Saturday. The teammates from Lee County High in Georgia are on-campus at Michigan this weekend and both have reportedly committed to the Wolverines in the same breath (Solomon confirmed his pledge on Twitter). For his part, the 6-foot-2, 195-pound Reese ranks as the 247Sports composite’s No. 117 prospect for 2018.

Georgia signed four-star 2018 S Otis Reese, who had previously been verbally committed to Michigan.
Reese took a late visit to Georgia on January 26, and was rumored to be wavering on his commitment well before that. Those rumors are now substantiated. It’s another big get for the Bulldogs, and a significant loss for the Michigan Class. The safety-linebacker hybrid is ranked 230th overall in ESPN’s top 300 list, and the 12th best player in the state of Georgia by 247 Sports. The UGA class is absolutely loaded.

Michigan four-star 2018 verbal S commit Otis Reese is visiting Georgia this weekend.
Reese (6'2/195) has been committed to Michigan since June of 2016, making this one of the longer-held pledges of the cycle. Still work for the Wolverines to do to seal the deal, though. The Leesburg, Georgia, native has visited the Bulldogs on multiple occasions simply due to proximity. They’ll have a chance to make their case with the physical safety again this weekend, with National Signing Day under two weeks away. Reese ranks as Rivals’ No. 56 overall prospect in the 2018 class.

Rivals recruiting director Mike Farrell tags Michigan four-star 2018 verbal S commit Otis Reese as a potential candidate to flip on National Signing Day.
Reese (6'2/195) has been in the Wolverine fold since the summer of 2016, but he did not sign with the program in December and is currently out on a visit to Georgia. If a team is to sway him from UM, it’ll be the Bulldogs. Even beyond that one visit, he’s been to Athens numerous times simply due to proximity -- Reese is a native of Leesburg, Georgia. A physical safety prospect, he slides into the Rivals250 at No. 56 overall.
