Bengals head coach Zac Robinson said LT Orlando Brown Jr. will play in Week 17 against the Broncos.
Brown has missed six of the Bengals’ last seven games with knee/fibula injuries but was upgraded to a full participant in Wednesday’s practice. Now, the veteran left tackle will make his much-anticipated return against a top-flight Broncos defense while the Bengals’ playoff hopes hang in the balance. Winners of three-straight games, the Bengals need to win out and get extra help along the way if they hope to avoid missing the postseason for the second straight season.

Bengals LT Orlando Brown Jr. (knee/fibula) is inactive for Week 16 against the Browns.
Brown continues to deal with the same injury that has kept him on the sidelines in six of the team’s last seven games. He was questionable heading into this one, meaning there’s a chance he could suit up for Week 17 against the Broncos, but we’ll see how things go throughout the week. In addition to Brown, the Bengals also declared QB Logan Woodside, WR Charlie Jones, TE Tanner Hudson, DE Sam Hubbard, and DE Sheldon Rankins inactive.

Bengals declared QB Logan Woodside, WR Charlie Jones, OL Cody Ford, OT Orlando Brown Jr., TE Tanner McLachlan, and DT Sheldon Rankins inactive for Week 15 against the Titans.
The Bengals’ inactives are headlined by LT Orlando Brown Jr., who will miss another game due to a fibula injury. Cody Ford has been starting in Brown’s place, but he will also miss this game due to an illness. Meanwhile, DT Sheldon Rankins is set to miss his fourth straight game due to an illness. The Bengals’ depth in the trenches will be tested Week 15 against the Titans.

Bengals ruled out OT Orlando Brown Jr. (knee/fibula) for Week 15 against the Titans.
Brown Jr. has been out for over a month because of the injuries. With the Bengals nearly eliminated from the playoff hunt and the season coming to a close, Brown Jr. may not play again this season. Cody Ford will continue to start at left tackle.

Bengals declared WR Charlie Jones, DB Daijahn Anthony, OT Orlando Brown, TE Tanner McLachlan, and DT Sheldon Rankins inactive for Week 14 against the Cowboys.
Both Brown and defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins had already been ruled out over the weekend, with each a massive hit to the lines on both sides of the ball. The Bengals are likely to continue passing their way towards the end of the season, with these absences only boosting the chances we see immense pass volume in Week 14.

Bengals ruled out OT Orlando Brown Jr. (knee/fibula) for Week 14 against the Cowboys.
Browns saw his game status move from questionable to doubtful before ultimately being ruled out for the team’s Week 14 Monday Night Football contest against a reeling Cowboys team. He returned from three missed contests in Week 13 only to be inactive again in Week 14. The outcome of the team’s game against the Cowboys could determine whether he is shut down for the remainder of the season.

Bengals coach Zac Taylor said Orlando Brown Jr. (knee/fibula) is doubtful for Week 14 against the Cowboys.
Taylor’s comments come on the Bengals’ first official day of practice for the week. The veteran left tackle returned in Week 13 after missing the previous three games but appears to have reaggravated his injuries. We’ll see if Brown is able to get on the practice field in any capacity, but it sounds like Taylor is already preparing to be without his bookend left tackle.

Bengals LT Orlando Brown Jr. (knee/fibula) is questionable for Week 13 against the Steelers.
Bengals coach Zac Taylor said Brown is looking good to play in Week 13, so we’ll assume his questionable tag is just a precaution. Brown has missed three games with the pair of injuries. Barring a setback, the timing couldn’t be any better as the Bengals enter a must-win game versus the Steelers. His return will send spot-starter Cody Ford back to the bench.
