Browns waived DE Orien Harris, K Jesse Ainsworth, CB Therrian Fontenot, WRs Mike Mason and Kendrick Mosley, and TE Buck Ortega.
Harris may not have the desire to impress an NFL coaching staff. Mason had a strong training camp, so his early release is somewhat of a surprise.
  • CIN Defensive Lineman
Saints signed DT Orien Harris, formerly of the Browns.
Harris was also briefly on the Bills’ practice squad earlier this season. The former fourth-round pick adds depth in the wake of Brian Young’s loss.
  • CIN Defensive Lineman
Lions acquired DT Orien Harris from the Rams in exchange for WR Ronald Curry.
Harris, a fourth-round pick of the Steelers in 2006, is now with his seventh NFL team. An interior pass rusher coming out of Miami (FL), Harris has zero sacks as a pro. He’ll compete to make the Lions’ roster in training camp.
  • CIN Defensive Lineman
Rams acquired DT Orien Harris from the Bengals in exchange for FB/RB Brian Leonard.
Pittsburgh’s 2006 fourth-round pick, Harris has bounced around the league. He does have some interior pass-rush ability, but isn’t guaranteed a roster spot. Harris will compete with rookie Dorell Scott for snaps inside.
  • CIN Defensive Lineman
    Bengals signed DT Orien Harris.
The Bengals traded Harris in May in exchange for Brian Leonard. Harris was then dealt to the Lions and was cut after Week 1. He’ll try to help fill the void left on the defensive line created by Antwan Odom’s season-ending injury.
  • CIN Defensive Lineman
    Lions waived DT Orien Harris.
Harris goes instead of Copeland Bryan, indicating that waiver claim Turk McBride will see action at defensive tackle. McBride can also play end.
  • CIN Defensive Lineman
Bengals released DT Michael Myers and claimed DL Orien Harris (Saints) and G Frank Davis (Lions) off waivers.
Myers is a penetrating tackle and the Bengals are asking their down linemen to tie up blockers more this year. Harris can play both tackle and end.
  • NO Wide Receiver
Saints waived WR/PR Skyler Green, DL Orien Harris, OL Tim Duckworth, LB Jo-Lonn Dunbar, RB Lynell Hamilton, LB Will Kershaw, and WR Joe West.
They’re keeping Jason David on the roster, which Saints fans can’t like. Harris played well in camp and could be back if he goes unclaimed.
  • CIN Defensive Lineman
    Bengals released DT Orien Harris.
Larry Johnson has already upset one man in the Bengals locker room -- Harris. Expect the underachieving defensive tackle to pop up somewhere else before the season is done.
  • CIN Defensive Lineman
    Bengals re-signed DT Orien Harris.
Harris has been on and off the Bengals roster since re-signing in October. He’s nothing more than a rotational lineman if he manages to suit up on game days.
