  • Wide Receiver #83
Florida State redshirt junior WR Ontaria Wilson caught three passes for 60 yards and one touchdown in Saturday’s 26-23 win over Boston College.
Wilson (6'0/175) caught a 16-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Jordan Travis in the first quarter, and also secured a 41-yard reception on the day to account for most of his yards in this one. No single receiver stood out in this one for Florida State, but it was Wilson who led the team in receiving on the day. Wilson now has 20 receptions on the season for 332 yards and four touchdowns, as he and the Seminoles look to become bowl eligible with a road win next weekend at Florida.

  • Wide Receiver #83
Florida State redshirt junior WR Ontaria Wilson caught three passes for 91 yards and a touchdown in a 35-14 loss to Wake Forest on Saturday.
Wilson (6'0'173) hadn’t made an impact this year, securing just once catch for negative two yards in FSU’s opening week loss to Notre Dame. However he made his presence felt against Wake Forest in style by catching a 65-yard touchdown strike on a go route down the right sideline where he toasted his defender by five-yards for the easy score. There weren’t many other highlights for the Seminoles however as they turned the ball over a whopping six times which all but destroyed their ability to gain any momentum. Wilson will try to find the end zone again next week when FSU hosts Louisville.

  • Wide Receiver #83
Florida State redshirt junior WR Ontaria Wilson (undisclosed) was in full uniform and participated in warmups ahead of Saturday’s game at Wake Forest.
Wilson (6'0/173), who was listed as a starter on the Seminoles’ most recent depth chart, did not play in last weekend’s surprising loss to Jacksonville State. The redshirt junior appears likely to make his return Saturday afternoon however, as he was a full participant in pregame warmups. Wilson’s return gives Florida State another option at wide receiver, which should help quarterbacks McKenzie Milton and Jordan Travis.

  • Wide Receiver #83
FSU head coach Mike Norvell announced that he hopes to see wide receiver Ontaria Wilson (undisclosed) return in Week 3 against Wake Forest
Wilson (6'0/173) missed the Week 2 matchup against Jacksonville State that ended in a 20-17 loss for the Seminoles. Wilson has only one reception on the season for -2 yards, but is listed as a starter alongside receivers Keyshawn Helton and Andrew Parchment. Last season, Wilson posted a receiving line of 30/382/2, averaging 12.7 yards per reception. The Seminoles will need all hands on deck as they look to rebound from last week’s loss against the Demon Deacons (2-0) on Saturday.

  • Wide Receiver #83
Florida State redshirt junior WR Ontaria Wilson earned seven receptions for 117 yards and a touchdown in Saturday’s 38-22 loss to North Carolina State.
Wilson (6'0/170) more than pulled his weight against North Carolina State. Seeing as the passing offense as a whole finished with 200 yards and two touchdowns, Wilson’s efforts accounted for more than half of the overall production. He was also the only player to catch more than four passes and was often doing so over the intermediate area of the field.

  • Wide Receiver #83
Florida State redshirt junior WR Ontaria Wilson is now listed as a starter ahead of Saturday’s game at North Carolina.
Prior to this week’s depth chart Wilson (6'0/170) was listed as a co-starter with Tamorrion Terry. Now both are unquestioned starters, with Terry coming off of a game in which he caught nine passes for 146 yards and a touchdown. As for Wilson, he accounted for two receptions and 22 receiving yards in the Seminoles’ 42-26 loss at Notre Dame. For the season, the redshirt junior has caught 14 passes for 133 yards.

    FlaSt #5
Florida State redshirt junior WR Tamorrion Terry is listed as a co-starter at wide receiver on the depth chart released ahead of Saturday’s game vs. Jacksonville State.
Terry (6'4/210) was limited in the practices ahead of last weekend’s loss at Miami, and it came as no surprise that he didn’t have much of an impact in the game. Saturday’s game against Jacksonville State could give HC Mike Norvell the opportunity to rest Terry, with co-starter Ontaria Wilson receiving the majority of the snaps.

  • Wide Receiver #83
Florida State redshirt sophomore WR Ontaria Wilson is likely out for the remainder of the season after suffering a shoulder injury during Saturday’s loss at Wake Forest.
Wilson (6'0/170) was caught between two Wake Forest defenders on a reception during the second half of Saturday’s game. Per Brendan Sonnone of Noles247, the redshirt sophomore suffered a break in his shoulder area. It’s unknown if Wilson broke his collarbone or shoulder blade, but either way it appears unlikely that he’ll be back this season. Wilson has caught 20 passes for 227 yards and a touchdown this season, ranking third on the Seminoles in receiving yards.
  • Wide Receiver #83
Florida State redshirt sophomore WR Ontaria Wilson caught four passes for 91 yards and a touchdown in Saturday’s 31-13 win over NC State.
Wilson (6'0/170) reached triple-digit yards on just four catches in large part because of a 40-yard bomb that he caught down the left sideline for a touchdown. Wilson had cleared everyone in the NC State secondary by at least five yards. It would have been tough to miss him. Wilson had not caught more than two passes or scored in any of the previous four games. Florida State hope to give Clemson a run for their money in two weeks.
