What NFL games are on today: NFL Christmas Day schedule, how to watch, game previews

Last-minute gift ideas for struggling NFL teams
In the spirit of the holiday season, Mike Florio and Michael Holley brainstorm some last-minute gifts for losing teams around the NFL, including the Raiders, Giants, Jaguars and Browns.

This season, the NFL will once again have the perfect gift for fans who dream of adding football viewing to the Christmas agenda: there’s officially professional gridiron action on Christmas Day in the form of two AFC matchups on Netflix. The day starts off with the 14-1 Kansas City Chiefs taking on the 10-5 Pittsburgh Steelers, before the 10-5 Baltimore Ravens visit the 9-6 Houston Texans.

The holiday scheduling marks a departure from the norm, with Christmas Day falling on a Wednesday this year. The Chiefs currently hold the top seed in the division and can clinch that spot with one win or one loss by the Buffalo Bills in the final two weeks of the season. Their opponents, the 10-5 Steelers, have also clinched a spot in the playoffs and control their path to winning their first AFC North title since the 2020 season.

The second game of the day features two more teams in playoff position — The Texans and Ravens hold the fourth and fifth seeds in the conference entering Week 17. Houston has already clinched the AFC South, while Baltimore has clinched a postseason berth and is still in the mix for the AFC North.

Long story short — there are playoff implications aplenty when the NFL’s 2024 Christmas Day slate kicks off. For the full schedule, including tune-in information and the rest of the weekend’s games, see below.
