  • PIT Tight End #85
Steelers agreed to terms with TE MyCole Pruitt, formerly of the Falcons.
An Arthur Smith favorite going on half a decade now, Pruitt played for Art in both Tennessee and Atlanta. Like the Falcons, the Steelers have a full house at tight end. but also like he did with the Falcons, Smith undoubtedly plans to find Pruitt a few balls with the Steelers. Headed into his age-32 season, Pruitt is admittedly durable and versatile.
  • WAS Quarterback #0
Marcus Mariota completed 13-of-14 attempts for 129 yards and two touchdowns in the Falcons’ 28-14, Week 6 win over the 49ers, adding six rushes for 50 yards and one touchdown.
Mariota beat the defense to the corner for his rushing score. His two TDs went to his tight ends, the first to MyCole Pruitt and the second to Kyle Pitts. Mariota only threw for 129 yards, but he had an impressive 9.2 yards per attempt, he was simply not asked to do much as a passer in this game. With the Falcons never trailing in this game and benefitting from a defensive TD, Mariota captained an extremely run-heavy offense. The Falcons can be expected to play ball control once again when they take on the Bengals in Week 7.

Falcons signed TE MyCole Pruitt, formerly of the Titans.
Pruitt appeared in 16 games for the Titans in 2021, taking the field for 479 snaps. Primarily a blocker, Pruitt caught 14 passes for 145 yards and three scores. His season ended in Week 17 after he suffered a dislocation and fracture of his right ankle. Pruitt could earn some reps as a blocker in in sets with multiple tight ends.

MyCole Pruitt was carted from the Titans’ Week 17 game against the Dolphins with a right ankle injury.
Pruitt’s season is over with what looked like a dislocated and broken right ankle. He immediately needed on-field medical attention and was placed in an air cast. Part of the Titans’ three-way TE committee, Pruitt set career highs with 14 catches for 145 yards and three touchdowns across 16 games.

  • Tight End #86
Anthony Firkser (knee) has been ruled out for Week 3 against Colts.
Firkser missed Week 2 against Seattle as well. His role was split between Geoff Swaim and MyCole Pruitt. Given how low volume the Titans’ passing game has been, neither player is fantasy relevant this week. Firkser will attempt to return to dart throw tight end status in Week 4 against the Jets.

  • PIT Tight End #81
MyCole Pruitt led Titans tight ends in pass routes in Week 2 against the Seahawks.
With Anthony Firkser (knee) inactive against Seattle, Pruitt ran 18 pass routes to Geoff Swaim’s 17 routes. Pruitt caught all three of his targets for 43 yards; Swaim caught both of his targets for 10 yards. Swaim saw nine more offensive snaps than Pruitt against Seattle. Pruitt would be the preferred -- if desperate -- fantasy option should Firkser miss the team’s Week 3 game against the Colts.

  • PIT Tight End #81
    49ers released TE MyCole Pruitt.
Pruitt, 29, failed to make the final roster of his sixth team in as many years. He totaled 20/241/4 as a blocking specialist with the Titans between 2018-2020.

  • PIT Tight End #81
49ers signed TE MyCole Pruitt, formerly of the Titans.
The former fifth-round pick of the Vikings has become a journeyman of sorts, as this will be his sixth team. Pruitt has a career 32-343-4 line across 63 games.

  • PIT Tight End #81
Free agent TE MyCole Pruitt will visit with the 49ers next week.
Pruitt visited the Ravens this week but left without a deal. The 29-year-old has spent the last three seasons as a run blocker in Tennessee. Pruitt would compete with Charlie Woerner, Ross Dwelley, and Josh Pederson for a roster spot behind George Kittle if he signs with the 49ers.

  • PIT Tight End #81
MyCole Pruitt caught 1-of-2 targets for 22 yards and a touchdown in the Titans’ Week 13 loss to the Browns.
Pruitt score a second touchdown when A.J. Brown fumbled near the goal line and Pruit scooped up the ball and walked into the end zone. Don’t chase Pruitt on the waiver wire this week, as Anthony Firkser is the team’s primary pass catching tight end when Jonnu Smith is out.
