Chargers re-signed DL Morgan Fox to a two-year contract.
In his first season with the Chargers, Cox posted career-highs in sacks (6.5) and tackles (38), while also totaling eight TFLs. A former undrafted free agent from the 2016 draft class, Fox has evolved into a serviceable pass rusher over the last seven seasons.

Chargers signed EDGE Morgan Fox, formerly of the Panthers.
Fox, 27, signed a two-year deal with the Panthers last offseason after spending his first four years with the Rams. After recording just 1.5 sacks for Carolina, Fox was released in March and now links back up with coach Brandon Staley in L.A. as a sub-package player behind Joey Bosa and Khalil Mack.

    Panthers released DL Morgan Fox.
Fox was due a $2 million roster bonus, something he had no shot at collecting after a 1.5-sack 2021. Fox was mostly just taking up space after arriving from the Rams in free agency last spring. Fox’s main calling card is his versatility, something that will probably earn him $1-$2 million in the second or third wave of free agency.

Panthers signed DL Morgan Fox, formerly of the Rams, to a two-year, $8.1 million contract.
Fox profiles as a rotational pass rusher with positional versatility on the defensive interior. With the Haason Reddick signing, the Panthers are already set off the edge but were in need of some three-technique help with Kawaan Short released. Fox had a career-best 6.0 sacks lining up next to Aaron Donald last season.

  • LAC EDGE #56
Rams DL Morgan Fox tore his ACL at Thursday’s OTA and is done for the season.
Fox appeared in all 16 games last season as a deep rotational reserve, registering 2.5 sacks and focusing mainly on special teams. He’s a third-year pro.

Rams promoted DL Morgan Fox from the practice squad.
An undrafted free agent, Fox had a strong preseason with two sacks, two TFLs, and four QB hits. His signing is insurance with Robert Quinn (shoulder), Michael Brockers (hip), and William Hayes (ankle) all questionable.
