Raiders owner Mark Davis said “we’re not trading Maxx Crosby” in an email to ESPN.
Per Adam Schefter, teams have reached out to the Raiders to inquire about the star defender’s availability but have been consistently rebuffed. This won’t stop them from trying as the trade deadline approaches, but it does look like Davis and the Raiders have no interest in moving Crosby. Crosby has 6.5 sacks and a league-leading 10 TFLs this year. He has led the NFL in TFLs two years in a row and has 27 sacks over that stretch. Crosby would be a great addition for a team making a push to win now, though that appears to be out of the picture despite Vegas’s season circling the drain.

Raiders EDGE Maxx Crosby (ankle) was removed from the injury report and will play in Week 7 against the Rams.
Crosby was held out of the Raiders’ first two practices of the week but is good to go after returning to practice on Friday. The veteran pass-rusher is no stranger to playing through injuries and won’t be severely limited by the ankle issue this week despite the light workload in practice. Crosby is up to 5.5 sacks this year and should be able to add to that total against a largely immobile Matthew Stafford this week.

Raiders EDGE Maxx Crosby (ankle) did not participate in Wednesday’s practice.
Crosby starts out another week as a non-participant in practice. He began last week the same way, and this is likely another maintenance day. Expect Crosby to play Week 7 against the Rams barring any setbacks. Meanwhile, LB Tommy Eichenberg (quad), LB Kana’i Mauga (knee), DT John Jenkins (illness), and CB Jack Jones (illness) did not practice among the defense.

Raiders EDGE Maxx Crosby (ankle) was removed from the injury report and will play in Week 6 against the Steelers.
Crosby was held out of the first two practices of the week after playing through the ankle issue last Sunday. Despite being far from fully healthy, Crosby brought down Bo Nix twice in Week 5. The star EDGE will look to find paydirt versus a sack-prone Justin Fields this week.

Maxx Crosby (ankle) did not practice Wednesday.
This is likely just a maintenance day as Crosby rehabilitates the high-ankle sprain he played through in Week 5. With Christian Wilkins now on injured reserve, Crosby is tasked with producing game-changing play all on his own.

Maxx Crosby reiterated his desire to remain with the team after the Raiders’ Week 5 loss to the Broncos.
Crosby played through a high-ankle sprain in Week 5 and was responsible for two of the Raiders’ three sacks in the defeat. Crosby, who has spent his entire six-year career with the Raiders, said the team’s struggles are something he’s “been dealing with his whole career” seemingly downplaying any desire that may exist to play for a contender elsewhere. Crosby is under contract through 2026 and has totaled 17 tackles and five sacks on the young season.

Maxx Crosby (ankle) is active for the Raiders’ Week 5 game against the Broncos.
Alexander Mattison will start in place of White, who strained his groin during Wednesday’s practice. Davante Adams (hamstring) was ruled out on Friday. The Raiders also declared RT Thayer Munford, TE Michael Mayer, LB Divine Deablo, WR Tyreik McAllister and CB Decamerion Richardson inactive for Week 5.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports Raiders EDGE Maxx Crosby (ankle) is expected to play in Week 5 against the Broncos.
Crosby missed Week 4 because of the ankle issue after being listed as doubtful. He returned to practice for one limited session this week. Crosby has three sacks in as many games this season and plus five TFLs and two pass breakups. His return makes this a notably more difficult matchup for first-year quarterback Bo Nix.

Maxx Crosby (ankle) is questionable for Week 5 against the Broncos.
Crosby finally returned to practice in a limited capacity on Friday. The veteran DE plays through injuries whenever possible so he has a real chance to return for this divisional matchup.

Raiders EDGE Maxx Crosby (ankle) did not practice Wednesday.
Crosby didn’t practice last week before being listed as doubtful on the final injury report. Head coach Antonio Pierce told reporters he would not play before the injury report dropped, so even a doubtful tag seemed optimistic. A DNP to start this week suggests he could miss another game because of the ankle issue.
