Lions signed DL Mathieu Betts.
Betts, 28, is a four-year veteran of the CFL and is coming off a season in which he tallied 18 sacks in 18 games. Betts has limited NFL experience, as he was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Bears in 2019 but was unable to secure a spot on the 53-man roster. In four CFL seasons, he has tallied 27 sacks and five forced fumbles. He’ll almost certainly be battling for a roster spot in training camp.
