Faulk

Faulk’s number of carries, especially in relation to Steven Jackson, is something we’ll keep a close eye on this weekend.

We assume the Rams are just being cautious and prepping him for significant work this weekend. He’s expected to start.

“He was a little weak out there,” coach Mike Martz said. “He was down pretty good. But I think he’s fine.” Buffalo is a tough matchup for Faulk this weekend.

He should be fine for this weekend. We’re really curious whether Faulk will build on his big game from last week.

Steven Jackson is iffy for now, but Faulk seems far less likely to play.

Whether he plays or not is still up in the air, though Steven Jackson will start.

It will depend on if Steven Jackson can get ready in time. It probably won’t be announced until Sunday morning. “Marshall (Faulk) is ready to go. We’re trying to take it easy on him during the week. I’d prefer not to play him unless we had to and give him another week off. But we’ll see,” coach Mike Martz said Friday.

It sounds very likely that Steven Jackson will start and that Faulk is a longshot to play much. “We won’t know, I think, until the end of the week where Marshall is,” coach Mike Martz said. “Marshall needs some time.”

Coach Martz is being evasive about his running backs, saying all three will be available. It’s tough to get a read on who will be useful at this point. Hopefully today will clear things up.

It depends on the relative healthy of Steven Jackson. No matter what happens, fantasy owners can’t count on Faulk this weekend.
